Training resumes for the 2010 season
The Pumas youth, junior and senior teams all started back at weekly practice on the 3rd of January at their new facility - New Line Learning Academy - where they have use of the sports hall as well as the field.
In order to better deal with the mixture of rookie players and returning players the coaching staff have devised a rotation of Offence, Defense and Team practices which allows us to focus close attention to positional work.
Coach Norman Navarro was eager to point out “We now have an excellent staff of coaches who are able to teach the game of American Football in fine detail. Alongside a great new facility and some promising young talent, I am really looking forward to fulfilling our potential.”
Seniors team GM Stuart Crowley added “We’re very happy to be at the New Line Learning Academy, the Head Master here is a huge fan of American Football and we look forward to assisting him with his community sports project.
